• Portfolio-Worthy Projects, suck as educational resources, research, social media outreach, policy advocacy, or support group facilitation
• Live Presentation Opportunity to showcase your work to the rare disease community
• Ongoing Mentorship & Networking with genetic counselors, advocacy leaders, and patient communities
• One Free 1:1 Personal Application Coaching Session focused on incorporating and highlighting your internship experience in your GC applications

• Completion of at least one upper-division genetics or psychology course
• Strong interest in rare disease advocacy and/or genetic counseling
• 1-2 years of prior work or internship experience
• Self-motivated, independent worker with strong project management skills
• Detailed-oriented and organized
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)

• Application Deadline: Rolling admissions until positions are filled
• Decision Timeline: Expect a response withing 2 weeks of submission
• Program Fee: $1200
